Emploi-Québec offers programs designed specifically for young Quebecers:

  • Youth Alternative helps social assistance recipients who are under age 25 become personally, socially and vocationally self-reliant.
  • Hats Off To You! is a contest to promote secondary and college-level programs in which women and girls account for less than a third of enrolments.
  • Découvrir un métier, une profession allows young people under age 25 to participate in short on-the-job internships.
  • Jeunes en action offers unemployed young people between the ages of 18 and 24 help adapted to their personal problems, to facilitate their social and occupational integration.
  • Jeunes volontaires gives young people aged 16 to 29 a chance to acquire skills by deploying a personal project.
  • Ma place au soleil targets young mothers who receive last-resort financial assistance and want to return to school.
  • Placement étudiant helps students find jobs year-round.
  • Québec pluriel is a job-search support program for young members of cultural communities and visible minorities.
